Project duration: October 2008 - March 2009
Project description: During the Residency at Jane Stenson Elementary School in Skokie, IL last fall (2008) each student and staff member made a tile for the mural. Younger kids created simple shapes such as leaves and flowers or just foot prints (kindergartners). Grades 3 through 5 created more elaborative designs on square shaped tiles. These tiles reflects on student's ideas about learning and school in general.
